Mountain View Shores is a beautiful cottage on Upper Rideau Lake with views of Westport and Foley Mountain.  

Enjoy spectacular sunsets, campfires, boating, fishing and all the fun that this gorgeous clean lake has to offer. As part of the Rideau Canal Waterway you can boat from Lake Ontario to Ottawa and beyond! 

The cottage is only steps to the lake with clean clear waters that are great for swimming, boating and fishing!  The manicured lawn has 123 feet of waterfront, a gentle slope and just the right amount of trees and open space for family activities. The cottage features an open concept design with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom where you can host 8 people.

The Upper Rideau lake offers miles of boating, fishing and water-sports, plus Foley Mountain Conservation Area, Rideau Lakes Golf and Country Club, and access to the restaurants and shops in the popular town of Westport.

Beds: Bedroom #1 has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds (single on top and bottom), bedroom #2 has a double/single bunk bed, in addition to a single daybed. 

Two kayaks come with the rental! The second building on the property is a storage shed. You can enjoy the deck in front of this building. Wifi speed is around 25 mbps.

The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are lots of activities, and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping, restaurants, hiking trails, and lots more!
